Skill shortages are often symptoms of a strong and growing economy with low unemployment levels.

If Australia is to continue to provide valuable services and products to our communities and be competitive in the global economy, then we need to address the skill shortages by attracting and training young people into skill shortage trades.

The Australian Technical College - Central Western NSW is committed to helping young people in the region achieve their potential by providing training in trades including automotive, building, construction and manufacturing in 2008, electro technology in 2008 and commercial cookery in 2009.
